IDPA

IDPA is the International Defensive Pistol Association. IDPA matches are scenario-based run and gun matches using cardboard and steel targets. Find out more about the IDPA here.

The Action Pistol Group IDPA Club # CO516 normally holds matches at CSEC on the first Saturday of the month.

  • Registration and Set-up @ 7:30 AM. (Winter hours 8:30 AM)
  • New Shooter Orientation @ 7:45 AM. (Winter hours 8:45 AM)
  • Safety Meeting @ 8:30 AM. (Winter hours 9:30 AM)
  • Match Immediately Following the Safety Meeting
  • ALL shooters must attend the safety meeting and should familiarize themselves with IDPA Rules available on the APG website.
  • SET-UP will be on Saturday morning – please come out at 7:30 AM. (Winter hours 8:30 AM) to get stages ready for the match.
  • Pre-Registration is strongly encouraged to aid with electronic scoring.
    Registration is through Practiscore .
  • Six stages are usually planned.
  • COST/EQUIPMENT – Match Fee $20. Bring a holster, 3 or more magazines, and
    mag pouches, 125 rounds of ammo, eye and ear protection.
  • Membership in IDPA is not required – all shooters welcome. Spectators
    welcome also, just make sure you have your eye and ear protection.
