We are excited to finally get Bowhunter Education here at Cameo Shooting and Education Complex. The first course at Cameo was held on March 10th 2024. This had been in the workings for about 4 years. We will now have several Bowhunter Education instructors to teach this course here at the facility. This course is required in 11 states and several provinces although it is not a requirement here in Colorado, it will be accepted in States like Alaska and provinces like Quebec, in Canada. This course can be taken online and the completion course can be scheduled here at Cameo. Also by taking this course, remember the certificate is only good for archery tags, not rifle hunting or rifle applications for big game. It is a very specific course that will recognize that you have completed the Bowhunter Education class and you will get a card to present if you are pursuing a big game in other states and provinces.
