The Varmint-ELR is a course of fire consisting of nine 6″ diamond-shape targets (V1 – V9) starting at around 400 yards and out to a bit more than 800 yards designed for small bore cartridges.
Certificates for Master, Expert, and Marksman are available to those who can demonstrate successful engagement on the specified targets.

Varmint-ELR targets can be engaged with cartridges larger than 6mm/24cal but bullet weight cannot exceed 175 grains to prevent target damage. Certificates are not awarded for cartridges larger than 6mm/24cal.
Ask the LRP RSO for a target map which shows target locations and contains rules for the course of fire and awarding of certificates.
